United States:  It has been revealed what would happen after a man decided to consume 24 eggs per day for a month and the results are just amazing. The notion of consuming eggs at a constant pace can make a lot changes in the body.

As reported by mirror.co, beginning with an average of sixty eggs a week, a doctorate student at Harvard University, Nick Norwitz, decided to experiment on how a record 720 eggs in total and four weeks would affect his cholesterol levels. It has stood for many years that taking many eggs is harmful to your health being a source of cholesterol leading to heart issues.

Dr Norwitz, an Oxford University-trained PhD in human brain metabolism, uploaded the video containing his results to YouTube, which has been watched 170,000 times and counting. He then exposed his diet plan and explained how he made a photocopy of the over 40 cardboard egg boxes he received throughout the duration of the diet bottled up in his room.

But some years ago this has been, however, in dispute. Dr Norwitz still believed that there are a number of reasons why his LDL or the ‘bad cholesterol’ levels would be lower than before if he takes one egg for every hour in a month. He then decided to do a food experiment to discover.

He failed to tell what other foods he consumed apart from eggs; he did not inform us about his exercise regimen. However he did point out once he passed two weeks, that he also became consuming 60gm of carbohydrates a day or in other words two bananas or 21 ounces of blueberries. He also entertained me with the prospect of how this can be taken a notch lower to even lower cholesterol levels as demonstrated by Dr Norwitz.

Sharing his findings, Dr Norwitz said: What changes do you think would occur if I were to consume 720eggs in one month for it translates to 133200mg of cholesterol, by own guess, my cholesterol would not rise. Namely, it would not raise my LDL cholesterol level. Well, it didn’t, not a bit. Even though mu dietary intake of the cholesterol more than quintupled my LDL cholesterol actually dropped.

There are many doctors who have already warned that eating eggs may cause a surge in the LDL level and also raise the risk of the health complications, just because the cholesterol can build up as a plague in the arteries and increase the likeliness of the heart disease and the stroke but the Dr. Norwitz found that his LDL levels fell by 18 percent after the month of the long experiment and the research.

According to some of the scientists this could be due to the release of a hormone called cholesin and trigged by the cholesterol binding to receptor on gut cells which signals to the liver to produce less LDL and Dr Norwitz was praised for his research in the comments section of the video with many sharing how they can get behind eating more eggs.

One viewer wrote that I knew that you LDL would not increase, and I want to share this video with some of the family that freaks out that I am eating all these eggs and meat!”
